Description

these are actual scenes of the comic with luna and Silver mane talking(and her giving a long talk to luna...) but these drawings may not be final. some of these are from page 4(top) and page 3(the other two outlined...) Before you ask, yes I know her legs in the back are a bit long ^^; noticed when I drew it and was all 'i'll just fix that later in photoshop' photoshop is my friend :3

the cutie make I have is a simple design of a rook or a watchtower as I found alot of watch towers looked like this design. however it is up to :iconroranicus01: to decide the final design of her cutie-mark and ya ^_^ would be great to get a good colour scheme and hair design. if you can see I made some of her hair poke a bit out from under the helmet.. but with most ponies their hair is coved completely. I also based the design of her armer of celestia's guards like it was in the story....

what I like about Silvermane her expressions and eyes. its simple and well her eyes just look like the guards eyes of all the other ponies ^^; but if that changes oh well ^_^

I like the expression on the sideway view. The short tail works but I feel like this one may be a bit too short, it looks a bit silly. The shape of her neck could use a bit of work on the frontal view, it looks too thick. Her legs are also too short compared to the side view. Silvermane is slightly taller then the average pony but not as tall as, say, Fleur de Lys. (As a french speaker, I refuse to caller her Fleur dees lee) The captain is also well muscled, but given your style of tall, long legged ponies, the general shape works here.

I agree that you did good work on the eyes. Her demeanor is very serious and business like and she rarely displays her own emotion in public, although she will warm up in later scenes, especially in her own chapters.

For the cutie mark, the one I PMed you will be the "canon" one used at the beginning of her chapters, but feel free to use the one you like best.
